BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Ahead of the 2026 home opener, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Market 32, and Price Chopper are pleased to announce a new partnership to benefit the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Under the program, Home Runs for Hunger, Market 32, and Price Chopper will donate 100 meals to the food bank for every long ball that leaves the confines of Mirabito Stadium.
“Partnering with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies is a natural way for us to celebrate the energy of the game while making a meaningful impact off the field,” said Hannah Begay, Market 32 and Price Chopper community relations specialist. “Every home run becomes something bigger—100 meals for families in our community—, and we’re proud to turn these exciting moments into real support for those who need it most.”
Over the course of 69 home games in 2025, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies hit 55 home runs. Fans are encouraged to follow along throughout the season with the Market 32 and Price Chopper home run counter, which will be displayed on the right-field scoreboard. At the conclusion of the 2026 season, a check presentation will take place on the field at Mirabito Stadium.
