Yard Goats to Face Phillies affiliate in Eastern League Playoff Series

Yard Goats Best-of-Three Divisional Playoff Series will begin on Tuesday on the Road and Thursday at Dunkin’ Park

Hartford, Conn- The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, will begin its Eastern League playoff series on the road in Reading, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night at 6:45 PM. The Yard Goats will battle the Philadelphia Phillies affiliate, the Reading Fightin Phils, in a best-of-three series for the Northeast Division Championship (ELDS) with Game 2 at Dunkin’ Park on Thursday, September 17^th (6:30 PM) and the decisive Game 3 (if necessary) at Dunkin’ Park on Friday, September 18^th (6:30 PM).

The winner of the Divisional Championship will advance to the best-of-three Eastern League Championship Series (ELCS) which will begin Sunday, September 20^th in either Richmond, Virginia or Erie, Pennsylvania. The Yard Goats won the first half Championship and Reading clinched the second half title.
