The Iowa Cubs (27-37, 57-79) fell to the Toledo Mud Hens (67-71, 33-31) 7-3 on Wednesday afternoon at Principal Park.

Toledo hit a three-run home run in the second inning to take the lead. They extended their lead after scoring one run in the fourth inning and sixth inning.

Iowa got two runs back in the sixth inning courtesy of an RBI double from Owen Ayers and an RBI single from Kevin Alcantara.

The Mud Hens added two more runs in the eighth inning. Alcantara recorded his second RBI of the game in the bottom half of the inning for Iowa.
