Fightin Phils Hosting Team USA Watch Party on Friday, June 19

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils are excited to host a Team USA Watch Party on Friday, June 19, at FirstEnergy Stadium, thanks to Truly. Fans will have the opportunity to watch Team USA take on Australia from the stands at America's Classic Ballpark.

Gates to the Diamond Credit Union Plaza will open at 2:30 p.m. the day of the match, ahead of the 3 p.m. kickoff between the United States and Australia. This is ahead of the Fightin Phils welcoming the Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, at 7 p.m. that same night. Fans must purchase a game ticket to be admitted to the World Cup watch party earlier in the day.

The game will be aired on FirstEnergy Vision's large HD videoboard in left-center field, as well as on all the televisions in the stadium plaza. Sound from the match will also be heard throughout the stadium. Concession stands in the plaza will be open as well for fans to enjoy their favorite food and drinks during the contest.

The match will be shown in its entirety at FirstEnergy Stadium, before the start of the evening's festivities for the Fightin Phils game. Fans attending that night's game may enter the ballpark at any time after 2:30 p.m. to enjoy World Cup action, then stick around for Fightin Phils baseball. The night also features post-game fireworks, along with a Baseballtown Connect Tribute and a pre/post-game concert in the Diamond Credit Union Plaza.

A reminder that fans must purchase a R-Phils game ticket for June 19 to be admitted into the World Cup Watch party, and they can do so at rphils.com/tickets, calling 610-370-BALL, or in-person at the Customers Bank Ticket Office.
