Jon returned to the RailRiders in 2024 as the Assistant General Manager after a 13-year run during his second stint with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

He began his sports career in 2000 with the Penguins, and after a successful five year stay, first joined Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when they were the Red Barons in 2005 as the Director of Baseball Operations, where he was responsible for selling corporate sponsorships, overseeing the game night entertainment, marketing and assisting the General Manager with day-to-day operations.

In 2010, Stephenson returned to the Penguins as the Vice President of Ticketing, overseeing all aspects of the ticketing department.

In his current role, Jon oversees all revenue-generating aspects of the organization, including ticketing, sponsorship and marketing of individual ticket sales. He also assists the General Manager with day-to-day operations.

Jon and his wife, Marlene, reside in Duryea. They are the proud parents of three children.
